The Best Invitations, Online Save the Dates from Basic Invite- San Antonio Wedding Photographer

May 30, 2019

If I’m being totally honest with you, I was a DIY bride. I stayed up WAY too late making our own wedding invitations. Although, I wouldn’t change our wedding day, I would have took some stress off of myself by not trying to print 150+ invites. I HIGHLY recommend creating your invitations and save the dates online. Luckily for my brides, I found an awesome company, Basic Invite. They offer the best online save the dates, almost unlimited colors for invitations (they even have pastel and neutral tones that I love), and different colored envelopes that would look so cute in your invitation suite photos!

I was able to go in and create a few samples for myself and was surprised at the amount of colors and options there were. I love muted colors and there were plenty to choose from along with different styles. Basic Invite also offers other perks like a free wedding website, custom samples (so you can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality), and an awesome address service. All you have to do to collect addresses is share a link with your guests. They input their information and you get free envelope printing, just add the postage. That is so conveient and would have saved me hours just messaging everyone alone.

I saw the acrylic (frosted) set and HAD to order it. So pretty!

A fun idea would be photo coasters for wedding favors. They are simple, useful and can match your invitation.

They also introduced Seal & Send Wedding Invitations. You send a link to guests, collect addresses, and upload them to your design. It’s an all-in-one invitation with a tear-off RSVP card (their address will be printed on one side and the invitation printed on the back). Once you receive them, fold the invite, add postage and seal with a sticker (Etsy has cute wax seal stickers) and you are done!
