With Christmas coming up, I thought I would mention a few gift ideas for the soon-to-be Mrs. in your life! Engagement season is also upon us, so you’ll be ready for the bridal showers in the spring time. With this list, you’ll be able to find her something special and personal.
The Mrs. Box My obsession with The Mrs. Box is REAL! This little, velvet box keeps your engagement ring nice and cozy and comes in so many different colors. Choose her favorite color or one to match the wedding color scheme. It is a nice alternative to a ring pillow and looks amazing in pictures on the wedding day. I’ve felt the boxes and they are truly heirloom quality.
Dress Hanger A nice hanger for the wedding dress goes a long way. Plastic hangers are usually flimsy, and let’s face it, not-so-cute. With a wooden or metal one, it will not only hold up the heavy dress better, but will look so pretty. There are many great options to choose from with and without personalization.
Jewelry/Accessories A dainty necklace, bracelet, or earrings would be such a sweet gift! Kate Spade and Kendra Scott are both great choices for jewelry. She’ll also need a veil with any hair accessories, so that can be an option as well.
Spa Day/ Massage Whether you are in the midst of planning a wedding or not, a massage is always a good idea! Send the bride to a day of relaxation and pampering before the nuptials at somewhere like the JW Marriott Lantana Spa in San Antonio. Trust me, she will love it. If a full-spa day isn’t in your budget, a gift certificate for a single service like a facial, massage, or nails would be lovely.
Gift Cards I know at first you might think that gift cards are impersonal but I promise they are useful! She may be doing all of her wedding shopping at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or even Etsy.com. From decor to a guestbook, she will be able to use your gift towards items for the celebration.
Getting Ready Robe It’s no secret that if you take your shirt off while your hair and makeup are done, something is going to mess up. To help her avoid that, a robe or cute button up shirt will do. I love the idea of matching robes with the bridesmaids while everyone gets ready. Tip: If you want the robe to live past the wedding day, refrain from buying one with the word “bride” on it. Opt for a solid robe or one with a cute pattern, like floral.
Monogrammed Mug I absolutely love mugs! I have so many and one of them happens to be this one from Anthropology! My husband gave it to me as a birthday gift one year and I use it in my office decor. Be the first one to grab her something with her soon-to-be last name initial on it!
Duffle Bag A girl can never have too many bags, right? A cute duffle bag like this one, helps eliminate carrying around many small bags. She can throw all of her clothing and accessories in it for the wedding day and then use it on the honeymoon.
Lastly, besides tangible gifts, being there for your bride is one amazing gift she won’t forget. Helping her make invitations by hand, going with her to try on dresses or even offering to run some errands before the “I do’s”, will mean so much!
